If you are an exciting up and coming entertainments company a bright yellow or orange may represent you most accurately. If you are a B2B tech brand perhaps a red or blue is most suitable. Whatever process you go through and whatever colour(s) you choose it is absolutely imperative that you are consistent with the colours you choose.
Whether it’s in your logo or your website background, you need to ensure any design or marketing material you export is in the same colours. If you logo is purple and green but your fliers are in white and black then it will confuse your customer base and lose you customers. The easiest way to establish a strong and recognisable brand that people can empathise and relate to is by having both a consistent style and consistent colour palette. You can change the format of the document, website or printed material but you must maintain a high level of uniformity.
