There are so many things to consider when embarking on an SEO campaign, with them all being of equal importance. You need to research relevant industry keywords, investigate websites to put back links on to, compare competitors online presences, carefully pick your meta tags and H1 tags… the list is seemingly endless! However if you want to appear at the top of Google you need to invest time, effort and (often) money to get there. If you were to optimise your content but not your meta tags it would help but not get you to the top. If you were to have social presences but not submit content to online directories it would help but not get you to the top. This why you need to ask yourself: where do I want my business to be?
Google is quite simple – the higher you appear the more interest there will be in your website and therefore the more customers you will attract. The pricing schedule to get there is (almost) equally as simple – the more you trust your money with SEO experts and do not cut corners going to those who pretend to know what they are doing the higher you will appear in Google…simple! If you want to appear at the top of Google there are no shortcuts. With SEO you get what you give.
If you are unprepared to spend either the time, money or combination of both to get to the top of search engines you will not get there.
