CMS Makes Your Life Easier
When you have a great web design, you want your content to step up to the mark. A content management system (CMS) allows you to change the content – the words, the pictures, the menus, the pages – of your website without having to contact a web programmer every time you want to make a small change. If you can learn to use Word, you can learn to use a CMS, which maintains a consistent layout and style but allows you to alter the content. Along with my client, Nortelco, the BBC website and most newspapers use CMS-based websites, so they can keep track on the enormous amount of content.
Website management, these days needs to be regular if you want to keep a good spot in search engine rankings. CMS allows you to create archives of content, so visitors can search previous information and adds a bonus of building content for the search engine robots, who love changing content on a website.
For Nortelco, I have developed a CMS that allows changes on its website whenever needed. By simply logging into the management area, employees select the page that needs to be changed, make the alteration and save it. How could a content management system work for your business?
